This policy explains what information Easy Stat Calc (easystatcalc.com) collects, why, and what choices you have. Questions: contact@easystatcalc.com.
The numbers you enter in the calculators
All calculations run in your browser. The numbers you type or paste are not sent to our server, not stored and not shared. They are gone when you close or refresh the page.
Accounts and forms
The site has no accounts, sign-ups or comment forms, so we do not collect names or passwords. If you email us, see Email below.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, through Google’s Site Kit plugin, to see how many people visit, which pages they use and how they found the site. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and collects information such as your approximate location, device, browser and the pages you view. We look at this only in summary form, to improve the site. Google handles this data under its own policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Cookies
Besides the analytics cookies above, the site uses only the cookies needed for it to work. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and the calculators will still work.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Hostinger on servers in the United States. Like most hosts, Hostinger automatically records technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to look into any problem you report. We do not add you to a mailing list.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not require you to give any personal information to use the calculators.
Advertising
The site does not currently show advertising. If it does in the future, we will update this policy before ads appear, and explain which advertising cookies are used and how to opt out.
Children
The site is a general educational resource and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
