Accuracy matters more than anything else on this site. If you find a wrong result, a wrong formula or an unclear explanation, please tell us.
How to report an error
Email contact@easystatcalc.com and include:
- the page address,
- the numbers you entered and the options you chose,
- the result you saw and the result you expected, and where your expected result comes from (for example Excel, R or your textbook).
What happens next
Each report is checked against the calculator and the source it cites. If the report is right, the page or calculator is fixed, the fix is tested again, and it is added to the log below. If the report turns out not to be an error, for example because two accepted methods give different answers, I will reply and, where it helps, add a note to the page explaining the difference.
If a correction changes a result, a formula or the advice on a page, that page’s “Last updated” date changes too. Typo fixes do not change it.
