Easy Stat Calc is a free set of statistics calculators that show their working. You paste in your numbers and get the answer, the formula behind it and the steps, so you can check homework, a report or a spreadsheet and see where every number comes from.
What you can expect from this site
- Working you can follow. Each result is shown with its formula and a worked example, not as a single unexplained number.
- The method is named. Statistics has several accepted conventions, such as sample or population formulas and different ways to calculate quartiles. Where they differ, the calculator says which one it uses and lets you switch, so your answer can match your textbook, Excel or a TI-83/84 calculator.
- Tested results. Every calculator is tested before it goes live. The Methodology page explains how.
- No sign-up. The calculators are free and need no account. The numbers you enter are processed in your browser and are not sent to our server.
Who it is for
Easy Stat Calc is for anyone who needs a quick, checkable statistical answer: students in introductory statistics and AP Statistics courses, teachers, researchers, and people who use statistics at work in business, health and science. It follows the conventions used in US textbooks and software, such as Excel and TI-83/84 calculators, and the pages are written in US English.
What it covers
Easy Stat Calc starts with descriptive statistics. Probability and distributions, statistical tables, hypothesis tests, correlation and regression, charts, sample size and confidence intervals are planned and will be added as each calculator is built and tested, so these topics are not available yet. The site launched in October 2026.
Who runs it
I am an independent developer. I plan each calculator, build it and test it before it goes live. There is no company, investor or hidden team behind the site, and I do not claim academic credentials I do not have. The pages explain methods that are standard in textbooks and software, and the Methodology page lists the references used.
How pages are made
Calculators are coded and tested by Easy Stat Calc. Page text is drafted with the help of AI tools, then edited by hand. Every formula and worked example on a page is checked against the calculator’s own output before the page is published.
Cost and advertising
The site is free to use. It may show advertising in the future to cover running costs. If that happens, this page and the Privacy Policy will say so, advertising will never cover a calculator or its results, and it will never change what a calculator returns.
